Route 66 through Arizona is EPIC. It’s full of so many weird things that I never get tired of looking at, so when my Girlfriend expressed an interest in seeing the Grand Canyon, I thought why not take her to some of my other favorite spots on old 66?
First, we watch the sun set at the canyon, then wake up in Williams, Arizona (the last town bypassed by the interstate) and head to one EPIC, wacky, weird, old fashioned tourist trap, BEDROCK CITY, the home of Fred Flintstone!
I never saw it as creepy before until this visit, but it sure does feel like you’re walking around the aftermath of everyone in Bedrock suddenly dying from the plague or perhaps living out some kind of ‘I am legend’ situation…
Anyway then we catch the most amazing thing with Angel Delgadillo and his friends in the real radiator springs, Seligman Arizona at the famous snow cap, then see more real life equivalents to things in DCA’s cars land… oh, just watch the video already for goodness sakes. I’m getting a typing cramp!
