Welcome to Knott’s Berry Farm! In this installment of Randomland, we meet our new friend Monkey and descend on Knott’s Berry Farm after closing to discover how Knott’s went from a standard flat-field working berry farm to an internationally known and locally celebrated theme park.
For all you Buena Parkians, the joke about “nothing there” is just a joke. Buena Park has many wonderful things such as a high school, a mall, and even a carmax. No joke.
This video runs a bit long, but we wanted to do the outline of basic Early Knott’s history in one go, so we can concentrate on the INside of the Theme Park on our next visit! So if you’re well versed in Knott’s history, go ahead and skip it. But if you’ve never heard of Knott’s, this will tell you how a little family built the foundation of “America’s First Theme Park” out of a roadside stand, some berries, a little tea, and a whole lot of Chicken!
Filming at DISNEYLAND again in one week, see you again soon!
